What does a great Operations Manager do?

The Operations Manager will manage the daily workflow across various functions for up to 25 employees in the company's internal operation. Position leads the prepaid/gift purchasing team of 12 to 15 employees including card specialist teams and data generation teams.

As an Operations Manager, you can expect to:• Managing a team who perform day to day consulting and buying custom inventory for Clients.• Ensuring there is collaboration within Client Services, Implementations, Account Management, manufacturing and other functional areas within Fiserv to provide a best in class client experience.• Providing resources and direction to effectively service clients, training, reporting, presentations, and communication.• Establishing a cross-product support culture to create a more efficient environment and enhance the Client experience.• Identifying and address gaps in process to gain efficiencies and better Client and Associate experience• Reviewing feedback from clients on the overall satisfaction of Fiserv's operational servicing.• Working with the Operations Team on critical initiatives including, but not limited to, external projects, incident response, process improvement, Associates training, and developing/maintaining standard operating procedures.• Ensuring departmental compliance with system auditing, client profile updates, and other administrative duties.• Responsible for hiring, managing, and developing Associates(s).• Creating and maintains a motivational work environment.• Incumbent will motivate team of Custom Product Consultants/Buyers and ensure they are performing efficiently and are accountable for the client's experience.• Incumbent will keep open communication with team and surface consistent experiences found across the team.• Responsible for Associates management and achievement of assigned key performance indicators, coaching where necessary.• Incumbent will aid Associates' development and serve as escalation resolution point where applicable.

You are responsible for:• Managing multiple supplier sites located, its competitors, market trends, future business opportunities, NPI projects and metrics.• Creating Supplier performance score card and cross-functional stakeholder feedback / calibration• Creating Supplier Strategy in full alignment with commodity management (CM) strategies to define Supplier related spend, targets, negotiations, RFX projects and spend pooling• Program management execution in alignment with CM, PE and purchasing department and ensuring effective stakeholder communication and involvement• Relentlessly driving impact to the bottom and top line through Supplier Performance Development, innovative Negotiation approach, supplier innovation ideas and should-cost analytics.• Utilizing negotiation factory standards and actively promoting Supplier Development program• Implementing defined negotiation roadmap, target setting and business reviews• Ensuring operational impact through compliance, contract and risk management• Ensuring full compliance regarding sustainability and regulatory requirements

Basic qualifications for consideration:
• Printing background preferred
• Previous management experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred
