As Manager, Operations Assistance you will lead the Allianz travel assistance organization that directly interacts with our customers by supporting their medical emergencies during travel. You will lead a group of team leaders and case managers that support the assistance program ensuring the highest level of customer service by meeting all timely and accurate claims service. You will actively develop staff to exceed all expectations and be prepared for further growth opportunities in a highly engaging environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Ensure the Assistance team provides exceptional customer support and case management activities for medical and non-medical issues that occur during our customers travel
  • Oversee the transportation of customers to locations that meet their health needs.
  • Lead a group of Team Leaders and case managers, motivate and elevate level of performance across the team. Hold people accountable and actively manages the talent on the team
  • Support creating and implementing the assistance strategy and autonomously run the day to day activities your team to achieve our goals
  • Rigorously analyzes metrics to proactively monitor results and address gaps to goals- develop a plan, implement, measure and repeat until gap is remediated
  • Support the concierge services in accordance with customer's service benefit, booking arrangements as requested.
  • Effectively communicate verbally, written and through presentations to influence in a succinct manner
  • Deeply understands processes, policies, procedures. Readily identify anomalies or changes in the work and proactively resolves issues as required
  • Actively support projects to improve our processes and technology. Ensure we have an effective change management process throughout the department



WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or combination of relevant education and work experience.
  • Five (5) years of management experience in a high-volume customer-focused environment.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding customer satisfaction measurements.
