Provides strategic direction for operations. Oversees the evaluation and implementation of strategies that improve operations performance and efficiency.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Act as a Consultant to the business by driving new strategies and ideas; Generate relevant, actionable insights and make strategic and tactical recommendations by analyzing operational effectiveness and client/teammate experience.
2. Leverage emerging technologies and critical thinking skills to enhance and automate existing methodologies, processes and reporting.
3. Work closely with colleagues and senior leaders in Operations, Finance and Information Technology, among other areas, to provide insights that drive business results.
4. Able to tell stories with data, educate effectively, and instill confidence, motivating stakeholders to act on recommendations.
5. Display an intense focus on achieving both short- and long-term goals. Be able to drive and execute an agenda in an uncertain and fluid environment.
6. Collaborate with multiple departments to identify challenges and opportunities within the organization and ultimately provide solutions that help achieve the business' goals; Evaluate, identify, and recommend solutions to automate processes.
7. Assist in the creation of KPIs, reporting and dashboard such that other teams are able to easily understand and predict pipeline and portfolio performance.
8. A proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on analytics. Conceptual thinking skills must be complemented by a strong quantitative orientation.
9. Be a part of a team dedicated to the analysis and direction of client and teammate experience, business expansion, and operational execution metrics.

Required Qualifications:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
1. Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent education and related training or experience
2. 4 years of management experience in a banking operations environment with specific experience in the area of banking operational processing, control, audit, regulation and compliance
3. Impeccable written and oral communication skills, coupled with strategic influencing skills and the ability to drive consensus around complex decisions
4. Ability to handle complex business situations, analyze issues, research problems and deliver action plans
5. Demonstrated ability to lead and coach others
6. Expert knowledge of the business unit and related industry
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
8. Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
9. Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Background in Quantitative Analysis and reporting for use in the development of performance metrics
2. Experience in project management
3. Experience reviewing, reporting and analyzing complex data
