The Lead - Operational Excellence will primarily drive continuous improvement for teams and business processes. As needed, the employee will also provide subject matter and project management expertise in support of Zoom mergers and acquisitions. Particular focus will be optimizing partnership between the COO Organization and other Zoom teams. This position reports to the Chief Counsel to the COO and CISO.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
This role will be responsible for managing high impact cross-functional projects and initiatives under the cognizance of the Zoom COO Organization, supporting the continuum of business processes associated with Zoom mergers and acquisitions (from due diligence through integration), Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews, and continuous evaluation and improvement of key business processes.
This position is remote.
QUALIFICATIONS
A qualified candidate will bring 8-12 years' substantial experience in:

  • Managing complex integration of disparate projects and initiatives.
  • Creating internal measures of effectiveness and SLAs based on leadership requirements.
  • Driving continuous process improvement guided by user feedback and operational data.
  • Building escalation paths for critical issue resolution.
  • Creating a work cadence based on agile methodology with work increments, backlogs and capacity planning in chosen tool (e.g. Jira, Asana); this work will be visible to other groups within Zoom
  • Building business cases, scoping work, and defining requirements.
  • Providing guidance to ensure programs and policies are built for operational excellence, support and scale.
  • Building partnerships with other functional Zoom organizations (e.g. COO, Product Managers, Engineering teams, etc).
  • Build capabilities for roadmapping, continuity, and sustainability.
