The Role


The IT Service Desk Technician will build out Circulo’s IT support processes and procedures with an emphasis on laptops and other hardware. This role will serve a critical IT service role to the entire company as well as be responsible for the end-to-end ordering and provisioning of equipment. The role will partner extensively with the People Team on the onboarding process. The role will be based in Columbus, OH and be required in the office at least 4 days per week. The role will report directly to the Head of Operations.

Who we are looking for

  • 3+ years of experience supporting IT help desk operations
  • Passion for solving problems (quickly) and working independently
  • Advanced knowledge of both Windows OS and Mac OS environments
  • Experience providing support to fully remote team members
  • Experience troubleshooting GSuite, Slack, and Zoom
  • Passion for providing excellent service in a fast-paced, highly demanding environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Extensive experience setting up and configuring laptops, mobile phones, printers, and other devices 
  • Security+ certification or ability to obtain prior to hire
  • Exposure to AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPN, etc.) [Preferred]
  • Comptia Network+ certification or similar work experience [Preferred]

What you will do

  • Build out the company’s IT support processes and procedures from scratch 
  • Provide real-time IT support in a Slack-first operating environment with over 50% of team members who permanently work remote
  • Own IT equipment provisioning process including asset management, storage, ordering, etc.
  • Resolve issues with GSuite, Okta, Slack, Zoom, etc.
  • Prioritize multiple competing priorities and provide clear expectations to team members on anticipated resolution timing
  • Balance responding to team members with a constant focus on security
  • Assist staff with general connectivity to company applications
