Job Description
The IT Retail Vendor Management, Director will play a vital role in establishing a foundation for smart practices and be accountable for the services provided to the organization. In this role you will be accountable for ensuring the overall health of third-party portfolios owned by IT Retail, including the management of relationships, strategy, alignment and approval of third-party spend, and ensuring delivery and performance. You will be responsible for evaluation of current and future-state practices, establishing required strategies and processes and introducing automation to improve operations. The successful candidate will need to be a champion for organizational change with adoption of processes and improving the way IT Retail thinks, operates and engages our third-party relationships.• Work in partnership with IT Retail leadership and enterprise functions for defining and overseeing the vendor management lifecycle, including consulting with stakeholders on their needs and selection processes• You will provide insights into our vendor and third-party relationship landscapes to help drive positive business outcomes, maximize value of IT Retail's investments in relationships with the overall goal to reduce costs and mitigate third-party risks to the organization• Develop strategy and processes in a highly complex environment to improve overall vendor RM operations, timely onboarding and simple and effective workflows. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align and adopt new practices. Self-directed; ability to support multiple tasks across stakeholder groups and internal management.• Lead operational performance meetings (QBRs) to discuss vendor performance gaps and establish corrective action plans with Retail CIO, senior leadership and third-party relationship owners• Develops & monitors corrective action plans for third-parties, non-delivery and performance issues and works with the vendors and relationship owners to define resolution paths and monitor progress• Lead IT Retail employees in performing the function. Identify, evangelize and train employees and stakeholders on practices and processes.• Monitor performance and develop reporting for vendors and tracking against SLAs and contractual commitments. Develop vendor scorecards and dashboards that present KPIs and relevant data tailored to stakeholder audiences• Work with Corporate Procurement and Sourcing functions to understand processes, contractual obligations with vendors to ensure delivery of services as committed post-contract• Conduct external research on well-positioned vendors in the market aligned with IT Retail's strategic partnership strategies and technology needs and make recommendations• Support risk requirements to ensure compliance of vendor partner products/services• Participate in technology discovery sessions to ensure alignment on required vendor capabilities and technology needs• Proactively connect with Procurement, Retail leadership and stakeholders on vendor contract renewal efforts; provide past performance and KPI assessments for consideration• Coordinates vendor Proof of Concept (POC) efforts with IT Retail Architecture, business stakeholders, and vendors
Required Qualifications• 10+ years in IT Contract & Vendor Management• May be required to travel up to 10%

Preferred Qualifications
-Working knowledge of ServiceNow platform and Asset Management
-Accounting accreditation or equivalent
Education
-BS/BA degree required
-Master's degree in related field preferred
