Job Description

Position Purpose

This position will support digital device operation activities in multiple countries and collaborate with manufacturers and Brambles's stakeholders to ensure devices are manufactured correctly and delivered per roll out plan.

Scope

Become expert in device manufacturing processes and device operation to ensure devices are ready to be deployed per roll out plan. Support device roll outs in assigned regions/countries.

Major/Key Accountabilities

  • New Device Readiness
    • Full responsibility to ensure devices are ready for deployment by:
      • Managing and coordinating activities between two Contract Manufacturers, three SIM card providers, and Brambles key stakeholders.
      • Execute critical tasks with Manufacturers, cloud applications, and devices to ensure devices pass manufacturing and Quality check stages.
      • Detailed review and approval of critical new device operating features/software.
      • Lead or support device testing and operation validation activities.
    • Coordinate with manufacturers and key business stakeholders to set production schedules and minimize risks
    • Work with Brambles key stakeholders to ensure devices, systems, and operational processes are ready to support device deployment in targeted countries.
    • Own, manage, and TT&T of SOPs, systems, and other documentation related to manufacturing processes and device readiness.



  • Digital Device Management and Control
    • Full understanding of digital devices operational and physical specifications.
    • Full understanding of processes, systems and apps used for managing devices during its life cycle.



  • Ensure all tasks and activities meet Brambles Zero Harm HSE policies.



Measures

  • Become expert in device manufacturing process and device operation.
  • Devices work as expected in destination country.
  • Achieve full understanding of Brambles Supply Chain operation processes.
  • Provide support and service for IoT solutions for assigned countries



Authority/ Decision Making

Manage and support activities related to the manufacturing and deployment of digital assets

Approval to ship devices to destination countries

Qualifications

  • Technical degree preferred with experience/exposure to operation or Supply chain processes.
  • Strong Excel skills using features like pivot tables, and other advanced functions
  • Strong data analysis experience
  • Be self-driven and communicate effectively in a remote work environment
  • Must be willing to travel to support Brambles Digital Operation's activities up to 10% travel. Must be able to travel Internationally if needed.
  • Have flexible work schedule to support activities in other countries/time zones.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills


Essential Qualifications

  • Effectively identify and communicate issues/challenges for device readiness
  • Strong data analysis experience. This position will require data analysis to troubleshoot device operational issues.


Beneficial Qualifications

  • Experience in creating, modifying, or implementing SOPs.
  • Experience in production planning or similar experience.



Experience

  • 2+ years of work experience in Supply Chain, Operations or Manufacturing role or support role.
  • 1+ year in Supply Chain, Operations or Manufacturing role or support role with experience in planning/scheduling.
  • 1+ years in roles that required data analysis using tools like Excel or other software
  • 1+ years in roles that required development and implementation of SOPs.



Skills and Knowledge

  • Detail oriented, able to analyse device readiness data and configurations to ensure devices are ready for deployment
  • Strong data analytical skills
  • Proven technical skills related to process and problem solving.
  • Computer: Microsoft office

Bachelors

1 - 3 years
