Senior General Manager, New Ventures at Elemy

As a General Manager in our New Ventures business you will spearhead our expansion in pediatric psychiatry and integrated autism and build new business units and initiatives from 0 to 1. Specifically, you will be responsible for building and managing a team of New Venture Leads and Associates in evaluating new opportunities, planning our market entry and continuous expansion strategically, financially and operationally, and executing on these plans with cross-functional partners to deliver hyper growth at sustainable margins.

What You’ll Do

• Join the senior leadership of New Ventures team focused on diversification of Elemy's service offerings across pediatric behavioral health
• Evaluate new verticals and initiatives, develop detailed business cases, and seek leadership approval to invest
• Build new business units from 0 to 1, targeting hyper growth and sustainability
• Manage the end to end P&L of new business units and continuously improve business health and future growth prospects
• Work with senior leadership across the company to develop and implement go-to-market strategies
• Operationalize new processes, build out functions to scale our operations and invest in continuous improvement
• Grow and manage teams of New Venture and Operations Managers, continuously evolve org structure along with the business needs and establish a culture of high performance
• Engage in strategic mergers and acquisitions activity by helping evaluate, acquire and integrate companies within target healthcare verticals
• Represent Elemy in collaborations with industry partners and external stakeholders

Who You Are

Venture Builder 

• General athlete with strong past experience in managing all aspects of a business, from Operations, Finance, and Product Development to Sales and Marketing
• Proven success in building an organization or business units from 0 to 1 with a significant technology and product component in operationally intensive verticals. 
• Experience in a rapidly growing start-up environment with exposure to multidisciplinary teams or incubation/innovations teams at later stage technology companies
• Experience with strategy development, business planning and future visioning, as well as quantitative and economic modeling (preferred)
• Experience with operating a business, including past P&L ownership

Leader: 

• Successfully built and managed large (25+) multidisciplinary high performance teams
• Experience aligning multidisciplinary teams around OKRs and KPIs. 

Operational Excellence: 

• Experience developing, implementing, and optimizing repeatable operations at scale. 
• Deep understanding of the infrastructure and metrics to enable hypergrowth. 
• Experience with change management and continuous improvement at scale.
• Superior quantitative and analytical skills 
• Experience collaborating with technology teams
