Job Description General Manager for the Redeem Programs in Chase Rewards, Connected Commerce
The Chase Rewards Loyalty program is seeking a highly effective and passionate General Manager that will be responsible for managing and enhancing the strategic partnerships within the Chase Rewards redemption programs. The position sits within the Chase Rewards organization of Card and Connected Commerce, which is a key business within Chase's Consumer & Community Banking. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who has the ability to operate within a highly matrixed organization, effectively influencing and communicating cross-functionally across Product, Design, Operations, Data and Technology teams to drive business results. The Executive Director will lead a team of relationship managers that are responsible for delivering superior customer experiences, on-going strategic management of partners, marketing, product strategy and business solutions that meet both Chase and partner goals.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating best in class partnership management process for strategic partners across the portfolio of current Chase Rewards redeem options, including strategic planning, best-in-class marketing, performance goal setting and the development of quarterly business reviews with external and internal stakeholders
  • Driving more customer value and engagement via existing partnership portfolio with a goal to accelerate Chase and partner business results
  • Accelerating the customer value proposition for the various Chase Rewards loyalty redeem options and aligning new enhancements with area product owners, operations and servicing
  • Participating in the corporate development-led deal renegotiation strategy for existing partnerships
  • Lead customer insights learning agenda to better inform partnership prioritization, enhancements to existing benefits, and the Business Narrative to inform internal executive level stakeholders


Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in product management or product strategy
  • You have strong independent self-direction, but know the importance of teamwork and collaboration
  • A proven track record of using data to create customer-focused features and experiences
  • Strategic thinker as well as strong inter-personal and influencing skills to drive partnerships
  • Ability to make recommendations and progress in the face of ambiguous and at times overlapping priorities, and clearly communicate those ideas
  • Flexibility to influence and partner across a large, highly matrixed organization and drive change through promoting a culture of collaboration across organizational boundaries
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills: able to present facts, thoughts and ideas in a clear, concise and convincing manner to cross-functional partners
  • Ability to communicate openly, be transparent, be open and receptive to diverse ideas from different stakeholders, with the ability to influence and motivate
  • Bachelors degree required
