Job Summary
Responsible for overseeing the development of the organization's strategic plan(s). Ensures the continued successful growth and profitability of the organization. Conducts and interprets organizational positioning, analysis and other studies. Identifies, investigates, evaluates and negotiates acquisitions/divestitures, licensing opportunities and strategic business alliances that are in line with the organization's long-range goals. Provides leadership and direction for diverse and complex functions. Typically manages multiple teams of professionals.

About the Team / Role:

Nearly a third of Comcast's customers live in a multifamily environment, including apartment buildings, condominiums, campus facilities, senior living facilities, and more. As the demands of our multifamily customers grow, we must respond with specific systems, interfaces, and services to meet their needs. We must address the unique operational characteristics of the multifamily and campus channels.

Reporting to the Vice President, Channel Operations, you, as the Executive Director, Channel Operations, will create and supervise a new team focused on driving seamless end-to-end operations for the multifamily and campus channels. You will ensure that our multifamily and campus products are launched successfully, supported effectively, and serviced efficiently. You will stitch all of the critical functions together, ensuring each stakeholder team has the appropriate tools and data necessary to perform its tasks.

What You'll Do:

  • Drive unified playbooks, operational dashboards, and key performance indicators that ensure the highest level of operational performance for our customers.
  • Interact with a multi-disciplinary product team to provide constant feedback throughout the development effort, addressing key operational needs early in the design process.
  • Provide the operational tools and support necessary for each product in the channel to scale and flourish.
  • Prioritize issues based on perceived user value, metrics, and product roadmaps, optimizing the deployment of operational resources for the channels.
  • Set, communicate, and keep the team focused on key goals and outcomes.
  • Maintain responsibility personnel planning and growth of the team.
  • Gain and maintain domain expertise in our rapidly evolving channels.
  • Lead in the transformation from the incubation and support of new products to fully scaled enterprise deployments, maintaining both broad and in-depth knowledge of customers and stakeholders.
  • Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders within the Company, including business units, sales leaders, field sales personnel, field installation personnel, Care, product, and engineering teams.
  • Solicit constant feedback from key customers within the channels, including residents, building owners and property managers.

  • Validate operational problems - be able to identify and validate an operational problem before significant resources are committed to drive a solution.
  • Operations design - create clear, detailed, and concise operational protocols and procedures with standards to determine success.
  • Operational deployment - manage go-live plans and phased deployments, bringing new operational functions online.
  • Background - preferably have a background in operations.



Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent business experience.
  • Experience. Generally looking for 10+ years of relevant or potentially relevant experience (we would love to hear your explanation as to why your unique experience would make the team more successful; if you don't quite fit the mold, apply anyway).
