Entrepreneurial Services Client Service Representative Summary:

RSM is seeking a Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our Tax practice. We are seeking a self-motivated, professional and responsible Client Service Representative to focus on accounting procedures and tax return preparation for closely-held businesses and individuals. This position is responsible for both client service and administrative functions necessary to support the success of the service line and the clients. This is a critical role where you can truly make a difference in the success of the team.

Responsibilities:

• Accounting services, including in-house bookkeeping bank reconciliations
• Reconciliation of year end brokerage statements to tax reporting statements (Form 1099) and trial balance. Ability to recognize and make appropriate adjustments.
• Weekly payroll processing and bookkeeping
• Preparing basic income tax returns
• Work closely with our tax team to provide support for our day to day services to our clients
• Provide timely and high quality service to meet our clients' expectations and perform research projects as necessary
• Ability to communicate directly with clients including working at client site
• Occasional administrative assistance including: tax return and financial statement assembly

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year experience in accounting including financial statement preparation, general ledger work, adjusting journal entries, payroll reports, and sales tax preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Quickbooks
• Associates degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience
• Tax return preparation a plus
