The Engagement Coordinator for UZone is a critical component of the Engagement team as they are involved in maintaining, training, and coordinating updates in UZone and projects related to the platform. Your mission is to help our team members navigate and engage with the UZone system, as well as diagnose technical opportunities from team members to determine the cause. In addition, you will also be required to monitor UZone and audit system and page content, manage permission and account settings, update team processes and job aids, assist in UZone training programs, prepare reporting from UZone data, team metrics, and projects.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Must Have Qualifications:

  • Familiar with different web browsers. (i.e. Chrome, Firefox) and technologically savvy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, specifically in Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to independently learn new systems and processes quickly.
  • Experience in public speaking, training, or speaking/performing in front of large groups
  • Excellent understanding of the organization's goals and objectives
  • Knowledge regarding applicable data privacy practices and laws
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
  • Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skillset and customer service skills with excellent response times and follow up
  • Ability to leave every team member with a good feeling about you every time you interact with them!
  • Encompasses a positive outlook and a friendly, upbeat attitude!
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Always readily available to assist all company team members in UZone and UZone training

Nice to Have Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of Training, Marketing, Client Service-related, or IT/Website
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Marketing, or Communications related field
  • Ability to troubleshoot Internet connectivity issues and conduct research into system issues and products as required
  • Experience with Adobe suite products (Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator)
  • Experience working on a multi-disciplinary team
  • Experience with custom software solutions and administrative tools
  • Aptitude with data using spreadsheets
  • Experience taking an innovative and dynamic technology, concept, or project and making it real, preferably in an organization with 4000+ team members

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Providing orientation and training to end-users on all facets of the UZone and Engagement
  • Assisting in scheduling trainings, auditing classes, and updating and creating training materials
  • Performing audits on UZone menus, News, team pages, and other areas to ensure the system is up to date with all organizational updates
  • Keeping UZone pages and content up to date with any team, campus, or company updates
  • Tracking team metrics and goals; compiling reports on UZone and team data for consumption by team members and UWM Leadership
  • Updating team member settings, including uploading photos, updating tasks, and providing system access
  • Monitoring and testing system performance
  • Responding to support inquiries from team members and diagnosing the issue or working with the team to provide a solution for the client
  • Creating and maintaining job aids and documentation for team and system processes
  • Keeping the team on track with projects and assisting where additional help is needed
  • Working as a team to deploy all new applications, updates, and enhancements to the UZone platform, including a communication and training plan and hitting deadlines set by leadership.
