Changing Healthcare For Good

At Angle Health, we believe the healthcare system should be accessible, transparent, and easy to navigate. As a digital-first, data-driven health plan, we are replacing legacy systems with modern infrastructure to deliver our members the care they need when they need it. If you want to build the future of healthcare, we'd love for you to join us.

The Role

Our Network Development team is responsible for building and maintaining a provider network that will deliver high quality, high efficiency healthcare services for Angle’s members. This team identifies the providers needed for a strong, marketable network and then solidifies relationships with them. Angle’s provider network needs to cover the full spectrum of healthcare services covered by Angle’s plans, including hospitals inside and outside health systems, urgent care centers, ambulatory surgery centers, medical doctors, medical groups, dental services, vision services, ancillary services including lab, pharmacy, imaging, therapies, and telemedicine.

The Director for Network Development and Contracting is responsible for the entire network development cycle, including analyzing markets to understand which providers need to be included for both network adequacy and marketability; identifying and reaching out to potential provider partners; working through the negotiations to reach execution of final provider contracts with reasonable rates; and then overseeing the onboarding of providers and ongoing provider relations.

Angle’s provider networks need to serve the direct markets where Angle offers its plans, plus have nationwide reach to provide coverage for employers’ remote employees who live outside the plan area. The network development team requires strong strategic planning to set up cost effective networks for nationwide access to services.

Angle’s operations are located in Salt Lake City, but this position can be filled on a remote basis.
