The engine program that powers the F-35 has an opening for a motivated, self-starting F135 Hardware Customer Support Engineer. As part of Military Customer Support & Services, duties include support of Field Customers at Base and Depot Locations across three different military services and multiple international customers.

Responsibilities:

• Support three United States Military Services (USAF/USN/USMC) as well as several international customers, providing timely responses to numerous technical questions to ensure uninterrupted daily flight operations.
• Author presentations, logistics assessments, Position Papers, respond to daily MERLIN responses, and Action Requests (AR).
• Create maintenance awareness briefings, and support engineering investigations, coordinating with government customers and international Customers.
• Conduct Reliability Meetings quarterly.
• Coordinate technical issue resolution among PW CIPT, Logistics Program Management, and JPO customer.
• Support monthly safety meeting reporting any impacts to the fleet. Support quarterly Reliability meetings.
• Duties also include providing Joint Technical Updates pertaining to customer requests and Engineering Changes (EC) for Unit and Depot level maintenance.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical field
• 5+ years of experience working in an engineering related job
• US Citizenship required due to government contracts

Preferred Qualifications:

• Jet engine assembly and engine shop maintenance experience
• Military Hardware Experience a plus.
• Demonstrated ability in problem solving.
• Strong work ethic
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
