Amplify is looking for a strategic, growth-focused, and results oriented Customer Engagement Manager to engage, retain, and enable Amplify's customers. Our Customer Engagement team serves as the primary advocate for our customers, guiding them along a path to success and delivering engaging resources to accelerate the adoption and expansion of our curriculum.
The Manager of Customer Engagement will partner with Amplify's Partner Success team to develop and coordinate post-sale marketing and communications materials for our strategic and large accounts, including state-specific contracts. The person in this role will report to the Director of Customer Engagement and collaborate with a number of internal and external constituents in order to provide support and engagement opportunities with our customers.
This person will lead cross-company initiatives to improve customer experience for teachers and students. The ideal candidate is a confident and adept leader with the ability to challenge the status quo while simultaneously working to establish relationships and credibility in support of delivering results.
Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver communications to various customer groups, including emails and marketing collateral
  • Update and manage state-specific websites, ensuring the most accurate information is provided to teachers
  • Support state-specific marketing needs for Amplify customers in partnership with the Educational Partnership Manager for that account
  • Adapt and implement national customer engagement strategies and communications for state specific needs
  • Support new, state-specific company initiatives as they are rolled out, anticipating the needs of the initiative and partnering with
  • Drive integration across appropriate channels, including web, mobile, social, direct, print, PR, etc.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including interdepartmental communication, implementation planning, and coordination of projects from input to delivery, maintaining project timelines and deliverables
  • Build strong working relationships with all key partners across the organization
  • Build and maintain subject matter expertise across products
  • Translate marketing ideas into actionable project briefs, tracking and reporting on progress
  • Embrace the customer engagement mission to help remove roadblocks and improve efficiencies within the broader Amplify organization
  • Guide the creation of content and campaigns to support the adoption of curriculum within school districts


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a Humanities major, Marketing, Communications, Business, or related fields
  • Strong technical skills, including familiarity with Salesforce (or other CRM), Wordpress, and Hubspot (or other email service provider)
  • 5+ years of Marketing experience
  • Experience collaborating with teams to achieve valuable results
  • Problem-solving skills to work through complex challenges
  • Strong written and oral and communication skills
