Hims & Hers is looking for a Credentialing Coordinator who can assist with administrative tasks pertaining to our practitioners' credentialing. The credentialing coordinator will organize, maintain, and verify all aspects of the process, and maintain current files on practitioners. The credentialing coordinator will also track expiration of certifications to maintain up-to-date files.

Responsibilities: 

  •   Assist in executing all aspects of credentialing and re-credentialing
  •   Determine appropriate provider packets to be completed based on defined criteria
  •   Create and maintain provider files with all credentialing statuses and supporting documentation
  •   Track and ensure accuracy of new provider credentialing and/or application status in database, as well as make updates for existing providers
  •   Capture primary source documentation on external verification websites
  •   Create new provider contracts or contract revisions
  •   Respond to internal and external requests for relevant information and documentation
  •   Work closely and transparently with internal departments and external partners
  •   Assist with credentialing inquiries
  •   Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, procedures, and policies
  •   Identify discrepancies in information and conducting follow-ups
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience & Skills: 

  • 2+ years work experience in credential services, accreditation and/or related field required
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Google Drives required
  • Knowledge of credentials, accreditation policies and related state/federal regulations
  • Strong reading, writing, speaking, and listening skillsExcellent organizational skills with high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently, set benchmarks, and complete tasks
  • Ability to encourage, direct, hold accountable, and guide others toward task completion
  • Ability to exercise discretion and tact in all interpersonal interactions, maintain confidentiality and manage confidential information
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with internal/external customers
