Contractor, Senior Strategic Programs and Events Specialist

This is where you and your skills come in. We're currently looking for: A Senior Strategic Programs and Events Specialist for a minimum 2 month contract role starting May 15, 2023. As part of the RingCentral Strategic Events team, this role is an integral part of the Global Strategic Events Program and will support the planning and execution of all external 3rd party, in-person, hybrid, and virtual events and programs. This role will report to the Director, Strategic Events and allows for growth and direct interaction with senior executives and key external partners as well as event production and hospitality relations. This person will need to work effectively within a small team and be a strategic problem solver with strong written and polished verbal communication skills. They'll obsess over details, display poise and sophistication in fast-moving situations, embrace ambiguity, and deliver results. Candidates should be located in either Charlotte, Denver, Dallas or its surrounding areas and agree to be in the office a minimum of 30 days per quarter.
To succeed in this role you must have experience in:
- Admin duties in developing and implementing event management strategies
- As the Senior Strategic Programs and Events Specialist, you will collaborate with our marketing team in all stages of event marketing campaigns
- Facilitate with event coordination via Creative team, Demand Gen team, Analyst Relations team, Vendors, Marketing Operations and more
- Work with Event Lead at maintaining event team logistics (staffing, accommodations, badge registration, tradeshow operations)
- Assist the Event Campaigns Manager with trade show pre and post-event marketing
- Performs various other duties related to event marketing management as needed
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum 4-6 years events and marketing communications experience. Ideal candidates will have previous event marketing, events experience specifically high tech products/services.
- Deeply collaborative, you excel in fast paced, ambiguous environments.
- Strong communicator with a proven ability to think strategically, but stay on top of tactical execution with a robust attention to detail.
- Ability to navigate a global company and take initiatives to find creative solutions.
- Exceptional organizational, prioritization and time management skills with the ability to effectively execute independently toward multiple, high-priority projects in a timely fashion.
- Strong problem-solving, critical and analytical thinking skills
- Preferred experience with platforms (Swoogo, Chili Piper, Salesforce, Marketo etc.) and mobile apps preferred
- Sense of humor
- Bachelor Degree

If you are hired in Denver, the compensation range for this position is between 105,480 and 128,920 for full-time employees, in addition to eligibility for variable pay, equity, and benefits. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, health and wellness, 401k, ESPP, vacation, parental leave, and more! The salary may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.
