Client Support Associate, Employee Health & Benefits (MMA Mid-Atlantic)

As our Client Support Associate at Marsh & McLennan Agency, you will work directly with our Employee Health & Benefits team providing the day-to-day service our clients need. This is a great role to start building your Employee Health & Benefits knowledge. Whether it's assisting our clients with difficult claims, billing and eligibility issues or providing administrative support to our Client Managers, you will have the opportunity to impact others. To thrive in this role you don't need any direct insurance experience - we'll teach you what you need to know and will support your as you obtain your Life & Health licensure. However, you should be a detail-oriented person with some background working in customer service on a team - whether that be a restaurant, retail, or something entirely different. You should know how to work under pressure and want to help.

Here's what you can expect on a typical day:

• Collaboration with the team to identify and implement employee benefit solutions for customers of all industry and size.
• Dialing into the details. Your details are critical to making sure we are preparing quality communications and customer presentations. You have to make sure the data you enter is accurate.
• Continuous learning in a dynamic industry. Whether it's a new product, compliance requirement, carrier change, you will always have the opportunity to learn and grow.
• Asking questions. Most people don't understand how insurance works or what they're asking. You need to ask the right questions to clarify and assist them. Plus, there are always questions you may not know the answer to. You have to know when to ask others, too.
• A team you can rely on when things get busy at life or at work.
