You thrive on driving sales results through your efforts while creating and maintaining valuable relationships with Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology ("Pharma") manufacturers' brand teams and their associated Media Agency partners. Your ability to actively listen makes you a "go-to" person for peers, colleagues or clients. You have a constant desire to solve problems and won't rest until you find the right solution for all parties involved. Though you derive energy through your relationships and working with others, you prefer to manage tasks and projects versus people. You are excellent at project management and staying organized. You understand the importance of responsiveness and follow-through. You are an avid learner and absorb new information with ease, which allows for shorter learning curves. Ultimately, you're seeking a role that allows you to build on your strong client relationship-building skills, while driving new product revenue growth.

Major Responsibilities:

Execution (60%)

  • Effectively present and drive sales for our digital ad-tech solution into Pharma and associated agency accounts; this role will require prospecting new clients as well as generating growth from pre-existing Inmar clients - active engagement and sustainable relationship-building are essential to success
  • Generate pipeline opportunities associated with brands and client decision-makers, typically at the Vice-President / Brand Director / Group Director and higher levels specific to our Pharma ad-tech offering
  • Collaborate with clients on Health Care Professional "HCP" and Patient-centered solutions that positively impact the appropriate target audiences and deliver incremental brand value
  • Be inclusive of the extended Inmar team and work alongside client strategy, client services and account management to ensure that proposals, pricing and contracting remain on-track
  • Lead and ensure contract negotiations and ongoing contract management workflow and execution remain consistent with client expectations



Strategic (20%)

  • Responsible for understanding the strategic objectives of each client's brand(s) and executing on solution strategies that best align with the mutual needs of the client and Inmar
  • Provide new product ideas and enhancements to improve our ability to meet client needs; gather information to help position solutions more effectively to remain competitive
  • Build and maintain internal networks, garnering support and appropriate buy-in



Administrative (20%)

  • High attention to detail and proactive in maintaining all administrative aspects of the position
  • Active use of Salesforce.com to capture sales progress associated with clients and prospects
  • Manage travel expenses and budgets accurately and in-line with Inmar policies
  • Perform all other duties as assigned and associated with this role



Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business or a related field
  • 5-10 years of consultative sales experience, preferably selling digital media solutions
  • Experience selling into Pharma companies and their agency partners with working knowledge of many therapeutic categories, disease states, brands, competition and associated HCP specialties
  • Experience with Pharma marketing concepts, budget process, timing and the Med-Legal-Regulatory ("MLR") approval process
  • Working knowledge of the the data elements and workflow associated with the dispensing of pharmaceutical prescription drugs
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills inclusive of effective remote presentations via Google Meet and/or Zoom
  • Proficient and experienced with Salesforce.com
  • Proficient with Google Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Willingness to travel as needed, up to 50% of the time

  • Analytical and Critical Thinking: Ability to tackle a problem by using a logical, systematic, sequential approach and has an understanding of the utility of insights within the Pharma ecosystem.
  • Problem Solving: Gathers and analyzes information to generate and evaluate potential solutions to problems, issues and challenges while weighing the accuracy and relevance of the facts, data and information.
  • Business Acumen: Understands how to guide business decisions through industry-specific knowledge, insights and skills - thinks long-term and has experience with the approval processes associated with the responsible promotion of pharmaceutical and biotechnology brands.
