The Business Operations Lead will be responsible for supporting the operations and execution of company level processes, priorities and initiatives. The individual in this role will also coordinate internal and external x-functional project management, planning, prioritization and alignment including stakeholder engagement and communication. This role will report directly to the VP, Operations and join as the first Business Operations team member.

What you'll do

  • Design, implement and organize end-to-end cross functional scalable processes and solutions 
  • Document new and existing processes; maintain updated documentation 
  • Identify areas of opportunity for process improvement and automation
  • Manage internal and external x-functional project management, planning, prioritization, alignment and coordination
  • Effectively communicate project status, risk/blockers, and highlighting dependencies
  • Create systematic way to track execution of plans and action items 
  • Drive teams towards focusing and executing on priorities that align to business needs 
  • Develop and manage internal procurement process 
  • Work cross functionally with Analytics Engineering team to maintain Master Company Glossary / data dictionary and own the process for ongoing additions/deletions/modifications 
  • Create, gather, collect, distribute and organize slide decks / presentation materials

What we need

  • 5-7 years of business operations experience, ideally within a SaaS company 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, PowerPoint/Google Slides /Pitch
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders 
  • Demonstrated success in delivering results working x-functionally 
  • Strong work ethic with a “get stuff done” mentality 
  • Problem solver, strong attention to detail, extremely organized 
  • Self-starter and quick learner with the ability to work independently
  • Flexible, agile and adaptable; used to wearing multiple-hats
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize and manage multiple projects
  • Experienced working in a fast pace environment 
  • Nice to have: Experience with data visualization tools (i.e. Looker, Tableau, Anaplan, etc.) 
  • Nice to have: Knowledge of working with project management tools (i.e. Monday.com, Asana, Confluence)
