Associate, Risk Management
Summary:
Capital One is seeking an extremely detail-oriented candidate with a high level of ownership with a proactive and process improvement mindset, who can identify risks and find solutions. This individual will serve as a subject matter expert in designated risk methodologies and corporate risk practices and will utilize that knowledge to guide business customers through expected assessments and appropriate risk management practices. This individual will work with the business to analyze and interpret results and data of risk assessments and help the business understand implications and determine next steps. This individual will make recommendations and provide guidance to ensure the business understands and utilizes all tools available to them; will also pull data together into a meaningful format and report assessment results via presentations.
Responsibilities:
- Relationship Management - coordinates, influences and negotiates - ensures timelines are met and projects move forward; drives investigation and/or problem solving for projects
- Analysis and Recommendations - takes results and data and helps business understand implications and determine next steps
- Communication - reports on results of assessments and processes
- Research and Problem-Solving
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
- At least 1 year of experience in Risk Management or Project Management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 2 years of experience in Risk Management or Project Management
- Sigma Six or Business Process Management Certification
- AWS Knowledge
- SQL and/or Python Knowledge
