Job Summary

The RIA Associate Relationship manager's primary function is to partner with the Strategic Relationship Managers to manage client support and service functions. Day to day responsibilities will include client reporting, organizing client meetings and conferences, and facilitating operational requests. The Associate will be charged with managing projects that span across AB's various business units including RFP, product management, marketing, legal/compliance, operations, and data management and will act as the liaison between these business units and the rest of the SRG team.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Leveraging Databases to build out prospect lists
  • Execute on prospect and client engagement campaigns
  • Manage client deliverables on both a repeating and ad hoc basis - performance, sales, AUM, competitive analysis, etc.
  • Maintain client information, contacts and updates within the CRM
  • Prepare for partner firm meetings and conferences - book speakers, confirm and prepare attendees, select and



Job Qualifications & Key Attributes

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A BS or BA; preferably with a background in economics, finance, or business administration
  • 2-3 years of industry experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to see things through from beginning to completion
  • Ability to multi-task and manage to tight deadlines
  • Demonstrate initiative and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a team setting.



Required Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft office suite - Outlook, Word, OneNote, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Expertise in advanced Excel skills like pivot tables and vlookups is a plus.
  • Series 7 and 66 licenses
