Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Dallas, TX. Senior developer in the Global Investment Research (GIR) Technology team. Responsible for developing services and components which help present/analyze market data numbers for Research clients. Analyze, enhance, and maintain modern full-stack applications built using web technologies (AngularJS, React, and JAVA 1.8+), leveraging relational databases (Sybase and SQL) and unstructured data using MongoDB. Analyze, enhance, and maintain a complex Content Management System while being responsible for hosting all research and relevant Global Investment Research content for clients of the Firm. Utilize Content Management Systems such as Adobe Experience Manager in order to build a digital platform that can scale to support highly curated system for serving content. Formulate design and implement requirements in the system following coding best practices and utilizing Object-Oriented programming and design patterns concepts. Help teams through all the stages of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including providing work estimates and raising critical project issues such as technical and project risks. Engage in test-driven development using Junit, Cucumber, and Selenium and utilize external testing tools like DataDog synthetics. Work with cloud native technologies with special focus on AWS stack which includes - S3, EC2, ECS, API Gateway and Lambda. Leverage messaging infrastructure such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, and SQS. Build and release management using Gradle scripts. Provide second-line support of the system, engage with business users, communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to non-technical users of the system. Perform technical recruiting, training, and mentoring of interns and new Analysts on the GIR Technology team. Carry out technical interviews for intern, graduate, and consulting positions for full stack developer roles and run technical interview training sessions on campus. Work on a global software development team and communicate status/design effectively across multiple regions. Partner with functional business leads to understand requirements and communicate technical concepts.

Job Requirements: Master's degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or a related field OR Bachelor's degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or a related field. Two (2) years of experience with Master's or five (5) years of experience with Bachelor's in the job offered or a related position. Must have two (2) years' experience with Master's or five (5) years' experience with Bachelor's with: web development using at least 2 of the following: AngularJS, ReactJS, NodeJS or JQuery; working across the entire SDLC lifecycle of product development, including requirements gathering, functional and technical design, development, user acceptance testing, release procedures, and production support; web application design and development using C#/.NET; relational databases such as SQL and MSSQL; utilizing Agile software development principles as part of a development team; and working in a Windows environment. Must have one (1) year of experience with: AWS cloud native products to analyze, deploy and integrate application flows. These include knowledge around S3, EC2, and Lambda; and Test Driven Development with experience in test frameworks like Junit and Jasmine.
