Develops and delivers training programs, assesses training needs, and maintains individual training records. Responsibilities:


· Organize training for staff within organization.

· Analysing training needs in conjunction with the head of the departments

· Developing individual training programmes that meet the skills gap identified through training needs

assessment.

· Planning, directing, and delivering training and development programmes including staff inductions, to

accomplish the organization’s goals.

· Update of individual training records

· Create training materials.

· Maintain QA/QC records as necessary for tracking of all inspection activities.

· Required to perform inspection activities relating to incoming materials like copper, breakers, in-process

inspection, final inspection, pre-dispatch, and dispatch inspection.

· Ensure the conduct of verification activities pertaining to the 1st off inspection and in-process checks on all

processes.

· Perform hourly checks on the defined critical processes to ensure quality consistency.

· Full time inspection focusses on the assigned area covering 100% quality checks as per the established

inspection checkpoints.

· Support in the conduct of in-process checks during the work in progress activity by production members.

· Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting

data into quality database.

· Identify issues related to quality, health and safety and environmental noncompliance and make the

necessary report.

· Keeps measurement equipment’s operating by following operating instructions, performing timely

calibration, calling for repairs

· Maintain the company’s interest in the production schedule and fabrication quality.

· Advise managers and supervisors on application of industry standards with emphasis on expediting the

completion of fabrication and maintaining of fabrication plans

· Maintain QA/QC records as necessary for tracking of all inspection activities and material traceability

· Attend QA/QC meetings and prepare meeting notes as needed

· Assure site quality systems (internal audits, preventive and corrective actions, quality procedures, process

control, any product spec review, process capability review) are in place.

· Assist with the preparation of quality training modules, risk assessments and standard operating procedures

for all H&S & Environmental activities.

· Mentor and be an example to all lower Grade production operators. Effective use of skills and knowledge to

promote Quality, H&S & Environmental management system.

· Ensure routine tasks are completed daily.

· Ensure best practice for Quality, H&S, & Environmental standards are followed.

· Perform other duties as assigned

· Ensuring 100% PPE Compliance when going out to the Shopfloor

· Honestly state any illnesses or any other minor & major issues during induction.

· Take reasonable care for their own health and safety

· Familiar with the use of emergency equipment such as Fire Alarm Call Point and Fire Extinguishers.

· Full knowledge in Emergency Assembly Procedure.

· Take reasonable care for the health and safety of others who may affected by their acts or omissions

· Knowledge in H&S Policy and Objectives

· Coordinate with production supervisors or Safety Officer for H&S Issues observed to be addressed.

Skills Required

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship)
  • Experience performing QA/QC inspections in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Ability to develop and deliver training programs and create training materials
  • Experience maintaining QA/QC records, inspection logs, and material traceability
  • Experience with 1st-off inspections, in-process checks, and 100% area inspections
