Position Summary

PreCon Precast Limited is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations & Systems Analyst to support business operations through reporting, systems administration, work order management, and cross-functional project coordination. This role works closely with Operations, Maintenance, IT, Purchasing, and Finance teams to ensure accurate reporting, efficient processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and distribute weekly labour reports for Production and Construction operations.
  • Manage hardware work orders, including setup, tracking, labour hour allocation, and closure.
  • Support the administration and ongoing enhancement of the Maintenance App and related maintenance processes.
  • Assist with the implementation and support of business systems and process improvement initiatives.
  • Provide user support and training for JD Edwards (JDE).
  • Supporting operations on Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Production Planning System (PPS). 
  • Collaborate closely with the Information Technology team on projects, system improvements, and operational initiatives.
  • Serve as a backup resource for Purchasing activities as required.
  • Develop ad hoc reports, data analysis, and special projects to support business decision-making.
  • Work with stakeholders across multiple departments to improve reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity across systems.
  • Other duties as may be assigned based on business needs. 

Technical Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing analytics is considered an asset.
  • Experience working with ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards (JDE).
  • Experience with workforce management software is considered an asset.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.

Business Requirements:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Cultural Requirements:

  • Ability to assume responsibility, interface and communicate effectively with others and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills

Salary range: $60,000 - $80,000

Skills Required
