Job Summary:

Operations Support is a cross-functional seat that keeps three areas running: café and kitchen equipment, the Safety Services dispatch post, and the warehouse and maintenance teams. Roughly 20 percent of the week goes to Food and Beverage, 20 percent to Safety Services dispatch, and the remaining 60 percent to Property Management and the warehouse. Sunday presence at a prearranged campus is required. The role exists so that routine work across these areas gets done consistently rather than squeezed in around everything else.

Principal Job Responsibilities:

  • Changes water filters at café and kitchen locations on schedule, and descales ice machines
  • Performs routine preventive maintenance on café and kitchen equipment, and orders supplies and parts as needed
  • Reports café and kitchen equipment issues beyond routine maintenance to Food and Beverage
  • Mans the Safety Services dispatch post, coordinating vendor entry and access across campuses
  • Monitors surveillance systems from dispatch and reports what needs attention
  • Logs vendor arrivals, departures, and access events, and escalates incidents per Safety Services protocol
  • Receives, logs, and stages deliveries at the warehouse, and maintains its organization and stock levels
  • Supports the maintenance team with assigned work orders, repairs, and preventive maintenance
  • Transports materials and equipment between campuses as assigned
  • Completes work order tickets on time and documents the work performed
  • Keeps tools in good working order, follows SDS standards, and uses required PPE
  • Is present and serving at Sunday services at a prearranged campus, and at churchwide events as the ministry calendar requires
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
