The opportunity

The Operations Support Specialist coordinates and facilitates academic functions such as enrollment, onboarding, and advising functions. This role serves as a point of contact for matters relating to these functions and works collaboratively across the university to ensure a seamless student experience is provided.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

•    Work cohesively within the department and/or other SNHU departments such to identify gaps in current processes and recommend/develop new ones.
•    Serve as liaison between team and the various project managers to ensure consistent communication and accurate updates.   
•    Serve as the primary point of contact for numerous internal and external stakeholders.
•    Understand and stay up to date on the SNHU degree programs and requirements and share programmatic process changes with partners in a clear and timely manner. 
•    Develop comprehensive communication plans for various processes and stakeholders.
•    Understand cross-functional connections between departments and the impacts new policies and procedures will have across the organization.
•    Ensure updated materials for knowledge management tools are added, maintained, and easily accessible.
•    Communicate professionally and effectively with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders.

•    Assist with projects or budget activities.
•    Attendance, punctuality, and reliability are essential functions of this role
•    Other duties and responsibilities as assigned 

Minimum Qualifications:

•    Years of experience: One year of relevant experience
•    Degree(s): Bachelor’s degree
Equivalent of experience in lieu of degree acceptable: x       Yes           No

•    Professional Certification(s): N/A
•    Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
•    Must be a team player and capable of handling multiple tasks independently. 
•    Possess knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) 
•    Capable of building strong relationships internally and externally; an active listener and clear communicator; seeks win-win outcomes.
•    Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
•    Process development and improvement experience, including utilization of data and metrics.
•    Experience using Salesforce.com or other CRM systems.
•    Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications: 

•    Three years related experience     
•    Experience using online e-learning platforms (LMS).

Compensation

The annual pay range for this position is $48,301.00 - $77,296.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. We expect this position to be hired in the following target hiring range $53,373.00 - $72,210.00.
