FirstDiv is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Support Specialist Level to provide comprehensive operations and program management support to the Joint Product Manager for CBRN Dismounted Reconnaissance Systems (JPdM CDMA). The Operations Support Specialist will support coordination, planning, documentation, task tracking, and operational execution for a wide array of CBRN detection and integration programs within JPM CBRN Sensors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Operations Analyst under JPdM CDMA, providing coordination, synchronization, and tracking for complex, cross-functional program efforts.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of new requirements, projects, and process improvements aligned to strategic operational goals.
  • Facilitate milestone planning and decision support by preparing, updating, and maintaining schedules, briefings, and decision documentation.
  • Maintain a centralized operations repository to track taskers, documentation, briefings, and staff meeting materials.
  • Draft, staff, and maintain a variety of program documents, including memoranda, acquisition documents, briefings, and issue papers.
  • Manage and track internal and external taskers; log actions, conduct analysis, assign responsibilities, and ensure timely and complete responses.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare materials, and provide executive summaries and meeting minutes.
  • Support operational reporting to include weekly, monthly, and annual reports, as well as input for briefings to JPM leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Provide input to acquisition documents supporting milestone decisions and internal program reviews (IPRs).
  • Track and maintain training compliance and personnel rosters for JPEO-CBRND and CBC matrix employees.
  • Support the development of internal SOPs, policy documents, management control plans, and information management systems.
  • Facilitate new employee in/out processing and ensure workplace readiness, including IT access and desk setup.
  • Manage the procurement of supplies, coordination of facility work orders, and transport of equipment for meetings and events.

Mission Context:

The Operations Support Specialist will play a vital role in enabling JPdM CDMA’s mission to deliver integrated CBRN capabilities that enhance situational awareness and survivability for the Joint Force. The portfolio includes advanced detection systems integrated into manned and unmanned platforms, supporting both domestic and forward-operating missions such as DCRF, NBCRV Sensor Suite Upgrade, and CSIRP.


Requirements
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience supporting DoD acquisition lifecycle activities or operations management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and strong documentation skills.
  • Proven experience in coordinating program-level actions, writing acquisition documents, and managing taskers.
  • Demonstrated ability to support programmatic functions, synchronize with multiple stakeholders, and brief senior leaders.
  • Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently in a dynamic team environment.
  • Familiarity with DoD acquisition policies, documentation requirements, and milestone planning processes.
  • Clearance Requirement: Active Secret Clearance.
  • Must be a US citizen.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting JPM CBRN Sensors, JPEO-CBRND, or other CBRN-related program offices.
  • Working knowledge of systems such as PPMT (Procurement Portfolio Management Tool), MAR (Management Acquisition Report), and related Army acquisition tools.
  • Experience supporting public affairs coordination, SOP/policy development, and internal communication planning.
  • Familiarity with robotic sensor integration, unmanned systems, or CBRN reconnaissance platforms (NBCRV, CSIRP, CBRN DRS, VIPER).

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
  • Light to moderate lifting may be required.
  • Regular, predictable attendance is required.
