As an Operations Supervisor based in Eastleigh you’ll be responsible for: 

  • Serving customers behind the trade counter and provide product recommendation.

  • Processing orders online and in store from suppliers.

  • Managing stock in the warehouse and trade counter.

  • Dealing and opening new accounts in order to generate new business.

  • Dealing with deliveries.

This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 07:30am-16:30pm with 1hrs break. 1 in 3 Saturday and the rota basis 08:00-12:00 paid as overtime.

And here’s what we’d like you to have:

  • Previous industry or merchant experience and knowledge in plumbing/heating products

  • Prior experience in a Face to Face customer service/sales environment.

  • Previous experience as a supervisor - essential.

  • To be a team player who is happy to take on a diverse role to carry out all jobs in the branch to ensure it runs smoothly.

  • Keenness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic.

Skills Required

  • Previous industry or merchant experience and knowledge in plumbing/heating products
  • Prior experience in a face to face customer service/sales environment
