Job Type:PermanentKeyera is seeking a dynamic Operations Supervisor to lead teams at the South Cheecham Facility near Fort McMurray, Alberta. This role is central to driving safety, culture, and operational excellence across a complex and fast‑paced site.
The Operations Supervisor will lead and develop operations personnel, coordinating daily site activities, and ensure work is completed in alignment with company standards, regulatory requirements, and Keyera’s values.
This position follows a 14x14 rotational schedule, straight days, with camp accommodations. available.
Responsibilities
Provide leadership and direction to operations staff and contractors, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Champion Keyera’s safety culture, promoting both physical and psychological health and safety across the site.
Oversee day-to-day operational activities to support safe, reliable, and efficient facility performance.
Support workforce planning, scheduling, coaching, and development of site personnel.
Lead and participate in safety meetings, operational planning discussions, and workflow coordination.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support operational goals and site initiatives.
Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of operating procedures and best practices.
Promote a positive, engaged, and high-performing team environment.
Qualifications
Demonstrated commitment to physical and psychological health and safety, with a people-centered leadership approach.
Minimum of 10 years of experience supervising field operations personnel in an industrial or oil and gas environment.
ABSA Third Class Power Engineering certification (minimum requirement).
Strong knowledge of regulations relevant to facility operations.
Proven leadership abilities with a strong focus on team engagement and culture.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
