Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring overall catching and live haul operations.
- Oversee the humane and safe catching of live birds from barns. Assist in spotting live haul truck and trailer into position.
- Operating a forklift in the Live Receiving area.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and healthy environment for both birds and staff.
- Monitor the loading of birds into modules and crates.
- Supervise the safe and proper usage of heavy farm equipment and vehicles.
- Ensure compliance with Company and Government regulations.
- Coverage when there is a staffing shortage for truck drivers and forklift operators
- Other duties as required.
Requirements
- Class 1 license with Air.
- Forklift License is an asset (Will provide training)
- 2 years in leadership as a team lead or supervisor.
- High degree of focus and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility in regard to shifts start and end times.
