Operations Supervisor

Come join our team as an Operations Supervisor where you will be responsible for day to day operations, monitoring productivity and performance standards while planning and directing workflow and project assignments. You will review and manage production volume to ensure service standards are met. The Supervisor will also conduct hiring, training, and the evaluation of staff. You will be responsible for the team’s adherence to corporate attendance and employment policies and work with your leader to develop policies, procedures and the business work plan for the team.
How you’ll make a difference:
· Manage a team of Pharmacy Technicians, Production Clerks and Warehouse Associates who support fulfillment within Pharmacy Operations.
· Promote a positive team environment and ensure best practices are shared.
· Assist in development of programs and process improvements to enhance the level of internal and external customer service provided.
· Lead team and individual performance standards and ensure service standards are met.
· Develop, coach, and provide feedback to employees concerning quality, reliability, accountability and productivity.
· Work collaboratively with various departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions.
· Recognizes and recommends operational improvements.
What you need to do the job:
· High School Diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
· 2+ years’ experience in leading or managing teams preferably in a distribution/fulfillment environment required.
· Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to effectively develop and assist team members preferred.
· Excellent oral, written and phone communication skills required.
· Experience in training and coaching less experienced staff preferred.
· Advanced problem solving skills preferred.
· Ability to adapt to a dynamic working environment, make independent decisions preferred.
· Demonstrated ability to handle difficult conversations in a professional manner required.
· General PC knowledge; MS Office, Internet, email required.
· Pharmacy Technician License/Certification is a plus but not required.
