Job Overview
The Drilling Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating drilling operations to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective execution of well programs. This role involves close collaboration with engineering, operations, and field teams to deliver projects in line with company standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day drilling and well operations at the rig site
- Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with HSE policies and industry regulations
- Monitor drilling performance and optimize operations to improve efficiency and reduce non-productive time
- Coordinate with drilling engineers, well planners, and third-party service providers
- Review and implement drilling programs, procedures, and technical instructions
- Manage site personnel, ensuring effective communication and teamwork
- Identify operational risks and implement mitigation measures
- Prepare daily operational reports and provide updates to stakeholders
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of drilling equipment and tools
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in drilling operations, with at least 3–5 years in a supervisory role
- Experience working in oil & gas drilling environments
- Experience in offshore or complex drilling operations is an advantage
- Familiarity with regional regulations and operations in Turkey is preferred
- Proficiency in Turkish, English; additional languages are a plus.
