Job Title: Operations Specialist

What you will bring:

The Operations Specialist is responsible for performing a variety of duties in support of the Deposit Operations function, including coordinating activities within the department and with other units, reporting relevant information to the immediate supervisor, and responding to inquiries and request or information.

Essential Duties

  • Process daily financial transactions, including net settlements and account reconciliations, with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Perform data entry and uploads for client accounts, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Provide customer support by answering inquiries and resolving account-related issues over the phone and via email.
  • Maintain organized records and filing systems in compliance with retention regulations.
  • Handle account audit confirmations through Confirms.com, including verifying client DDA balances, investment balances, accrued interest, and providing account statements as requested.
  • Support the account opening process and verify the accuracy of new deposit account documentation.
  • Assist with Certificates of Deposit (CD) processing, including account openings, renewals, and maturities.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to coordinate daily operational activities.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications/Skills:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of one (1) year experience in related positions required
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Moderate typing and computer skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with bank employees and customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintaining accuracy and attention to detail while handling multiple tasks
  • Strong verbal, mathematical and organizational skills
  • Visual and auditory skills

Pay Range: $46,000 to $49,000 annually

Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
