About the Role
In this role, you will streamline manual processes for Operations teams across Margin, Treasury, Corporate Actions, Settlements Ops Control, Self-Clearing, and other departments by designing and implementing fast and dynamic automation solutions.
You will work closely with technical experts and non-technical team members, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across diverse functions. The role offers high autonomy in developing ad hoc reports quickly, accurately, and dynamically. Additionally, your automations will often serve as short-term solutions until a more permanent API-based solution is developed and implemented.
What You’ll Do
- Create automation scripts as needed
- Participate in retesting once bugs and issues are resolved
- Assist with troubleshooting issues during the testing phase, providing technical recommendations
- Proactively improve existing tasks and help build the environment as the team and business grow
- Collaboration and communication across diverse teams
What You'll Need
- 2+ years of automation experience
- Intermediate Python and SQL skills are required
- Proficient in writing SQL queries for relational/foreign databases, repositories, and API calls
- Ability to write dynamic task/job definitions (daily, monthly, or triggered)
- Experience with RDMS or database management/engineering is a plus
- Strong critical thinking and short-term problem-solving skills
- Self-starter with a proven ability to overcome obstacles
- Willingness to innovate and adapt
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining established processes
- Enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent experience

Compensation
Compensation package offerings are based on candidate experience and technical qualifications, as it relates to the role. These are identified and determined throughout your interviewing experience.
Please note: this role is expected to come into our office on a cadence set by the Hiring Manager/Team.

$130,000—$150,000 USD
