Peraton is seeking an experienced Operations Specialist to support our customer onsite in McLean, Va proven to excel in high operational tempo environments and drive mission execution in support of national security objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience directly supporting the Intelligence Community. You are a strategic collaborator, ensuring coordination with partners across the spectrum of government to stay ahead of the threat. You thrive in complex situations and are capable of considering the whole picture, even in times of stress, to maintain excellent performance. You are comfortable taking limited direction to support your customer’s ability to maintain operational readiness in a dynamic environment. You establish and maintain excellent, collaborative working relationships with executive leaders, soliciting and incorporating feedback in a thoughtful, professional manner.

Required Qualifications

  • Active, current TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Minimum of 12 years relevant experience with BS/BA
  • Possess a background supporting national security objectives in operational and/or watch-type roles
  • Proven ability to maintain around-the-clock situational awareness of activities, events, etc. impacting mission readiness and continuity
  • Demonstrated experience successfully working across organizational silos to support whole-of-government activities
  • Ability to confidently engage partners in a professional, collaborative manner
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

Target Salary Range$176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
