The Role at a Glance

Join Roseman University’s Office of Community Health Innovation (OCHI) and help turn innovative ideas into programs that make a difference.

As the Operations Specialist, you’ll serve as a key operational resource supporting OCHI and the GENESIS program. You’ll coordinate projects, streamline processes, manage program logistics and resources, and collaborate with faculty, staff, students, leadership, and community partners. This is an ideal opportunity for an organized, solutions-focused professional who enjoys making complex operations run smoothly while contributing to meaningful work in healthcare education and community health.

What You’ll Do and Why You’ll Love This Role

  • Keep Programs Moving – Coordinate projects, schedules, timelines, field activities, household service visits, meetings, and events that support OCHI’s educational and community initiatives.
  • Make Work Better – Evaluate workflows, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement practical solutions that increase efficiency and strengthen the employee experience.
  • Be the Operational Go-To – Coordinate departmental resources, technology, procurement, inventory, vendors, travel, and workplace logistics that keep programs running successfully.
  • Support Mission-Driven Leaders – Provide high-level administrative support, including reports, presentations, meeting materials, correspondence, and confidential documentation.
  • Connect People and Priorities – Work across academic, clinical, and community environments to coordinate resources, solve problems, and support successful program delivery.
  • See Your Impact – Your work behind the scenes will directly support initiatives focused on healthcare education, research, community engagement, and improving health outcomes.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in administration, operations, project coordination, executive support, or a related area.
  • Strong organizational, project coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and workplace technology.
  • Experience working collaboratively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Pay Range $22-$25
