Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Securities Operations Specialist to join the Treasury Operations team within Wealth & Investment Management Operations. Treasury Operations is responsible for critical daily funding, liquidity management, reconciliation, and settlement activities that support operational funding requirements, cash positioning, and overall business continuity.

In this role, you will:
- Execute and oversee daily Treasury funding activities supporting Wealth & Investment Management Operations, including cash positioning, liquidity management, and settlement funding requirements
- Monitor and reconcile the BNY Operating DDA and other Treasury-related accounts to ensure accurate daily cash management, zero-balance administration, and operational funding support
- Determine, execute, and oversee daily funding requirements between external banking partners and internal Wells Fargo operating accounts, including CEO wire transfers and related funding transactions
- Lead complex operational activities involving funding operations, cash management, securities settlements, reconciliation processes, and money movement functions while ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Review and analyze complex operational issues, funding discrepancies, reconciliation exceptions, and settlement-related challenges requiring evaluation of multiple risk, operational, and business factors
- Research and resolve complex escalated issues impacting Treasury Operations, funding activities, liquidity management, settlements, cash movement, and operational controls
- Exercise independent judgment in managing funding and settlement activities while identifying and implementing controls that minimize operational risk and potential business disruption
- Partner strategically with Treasury, Finance, Operations, Risk, Settlement, and Technology teams to support liquidity planning, funding forecasts, cash management objectives, and operational resiliency
- Lead and support large-scale initiatives, process improvements, and operational transformation efforts designed to improve efficiency, strengthen controls, reduce risk, and enhance operational effectiveness
- Identify opportunities for automation, workflow optimization, reconciliation enhancements, and process standardization across Treasury and Securities Operations functions
- Maintain subject matter expertise in Treasury funding operations, cash payments, reconciliation processes, securities settlements, custodial operations, and general ledger balancing activities
- Support regulatory, audit, risk, and control activities through effective execution of Treasury processes and adherence to operational governance standards
- Monitor daily securities and cash-related production activities, ensuring timely completion of critical funding, settlement, and liquidity obligations
- Lead implementation of new or revised processes, procedures, and initiatives that require coordination across multiple operational teams and may involve financial, operational, or risk-related impacts
- Contribute to business continuity planning, succession planning, cross-training efforts, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to strengthen team resiliency and reduce key-person dependency
- 5+ years of Securities Operations experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, military experience, education, or training
- 5+ years' experience supporting wire transfers, settlement processes, treasury operations, liquidity management, and/or cash management functions
- 5+ years experience working within securities settlements, custody operations, trust funding, or related Treasury functions
- Knowledge and understanding of BNY funding and settlement processes
- Experience supporting process automation, operational transformation, or workflow optimization initiatives
- Demonstrated experience utilizing Celonis, Power BI, Alteryx, Xceptor, SQL, or similar analytics tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence and risk management
- Understanding of operational risk, controls, and compliance frameworks
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Leadership skills including coaching, training, and mentoring
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule
