Mustang Creek Estates is looking for a dedicated Operations Specialist to help oversee company and campus initiatives.
The ideal candidate for this position will have significant experience in the senior living industry and currently hold their Texas Assisted Living Managers Certification.
The Operation Specialist will be responsible, under the direction of the Director of Operations, for supporting the operations teams with community operations during community transition periods by overseeing the operations of the community and ensuring the welfare and safety of our residents and team members. This position will also oversee the planning, direction, and implementation of company policies, procedures, and standards, and ensure the efficient and effective administration and execution of the company's business plan for a specific period.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Acts as the Executive Director in the designated campus where this position is vacant, responsible for the overall management of the community, staff, financials, and well-being of residents during the interim time
- Oversees the daily operations of the assigned community with emphasis on improving operational performance
- Reports directly to the Director of Operations & Director of Human Resources and works closely with all teams to identify challenges and create solutions
- Assists in the recruitment and retention of qualified team members and in the development and maintenance of a positive and supportive team atmosphere
- Assists in the areas of marketing, outreach, resident admissions, resident assessments, and discharge procedures
- May assist with and/or conduct associate performance reviews as an Operations Specialist.
- May assess the training needs for staff and provide training as needed
- Works to resolve issues identified by residents and/or their family members.
- Develop and conduct service plan reviews; supervise the maintenance of resident files; review documentation performed by team members
- Serves as an auditor at the campuses to ensure that Mustang Creek Estates policies and procedures, and standards are maintained, as well as state rules and regulations
- Supports the Director of Operations and Director of Human Resources with special projects as needed
- Revise and/or formulate policies and promote their implementation as needed
- Conducts operations in a manner consistent with our mission, philosophy of service, and team member characteristics to uphold and improve customer satisfaction, associate satisfaction, occupancy, culture, and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and speaking the primary language of the team members.
- Ability to act in a resident’s best interest
- Must be able to work flexible hours and be available to respond during off-duty hours to community problems and emergencies
- Ability to act and supervise in a professional, energetic, and courteous manner
- Ability to follow MCE policies and procedures
- Ability to attain the Mustang Creek Estates Team Member Characteristics

- Minimum 3 years senior housing experience as an Executive Director in the state of Texas.
- Texas Assisted Living Managers Certification
- Must possess or be able to successfully complete requirements as outlined by the MCE Driver Policy
- Proficient/Advanced computer skills including MS Office and data mining, and internet research.
- Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple demands and prioritize tasks effectively and efficiently.
- Demonstrate the ability to work in a confidential environment while maintaining the appropriate degree of confidentiality.
- Solid interpersonal, communication, and listening skills, and passionate about customer service.
