SUMMARY:
The Operations Specialist works as part of a team to track and record incoming business, create electronic and/or paper files, and record and submit required reports to management and the clearing firm. The position is also a support position for customer service and the investment advisors. Handling incoming calls and service issues in a prompt and courteous manner is an essential part of the clerk's duties, the ability to multitask across this range of tasks is critical.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Receives calls and handles issues from: customers, advisors, management, etc.
Maintains knowledge of procedures and documents needed for account opening and editing.
Processes required documents for incoming and outgoing advisors with insurance carriers and mutual fund companies.
Compiles daily, monthly, and quarterly reports.
Works with the rest of the team to meet departmental goals and create efficiencies where applicable.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the bank’s policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing. You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner.
