JOB SUMMARY:

As part of the Trace3xpereince Program, the Project Operations Specialist Tracer (Intern) will learn the end-to-end administration of professional services engagements including client billing functions, vendor PO management and reconciliation. The Project Operations Specialist will have a chance to work closely with Service Operations Leaders on internal projects to drive operational efficiencies. Tracers in this program will receive accelerated professional development, IT industry exposure, world-class mentoring, and a unique networking opportunity across the organization.


WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO LEARN:

  • Learn how to review and validate a Statement of Work (SOW), Level of Effort (LOE) and/or Purchase Order (PO)
  • Complete project set-up within Finance & Operations systems and ensure the project financials are accurate based on the governing contract
  • Generate vendor POs and manage vendor bill reconciliations associated with professional Services engagements
  • Work with Project Managers and account teams to enable accurate project financial practices.   
  • Complete project closure procedures including reconciliation of financials
  • Learn how to build relationships with internal teams, sales, and outside vendors
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support Service Operation Leaders execute on operational initiatives


ELIGIBILITY AND PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Enrollment in the Junior or Senior year of an undergraduate or graduate degree program, at an accredited college or university
  • Candidates should be pursuing a field of study applicable to the Operations Specialist Internship
  • Cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 or better; People and Organizational Health may require a copy of the applicant’s transcript
  • Academic or professional/internship experience working in a professional setting is a plus
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and accepts direction on given assignments
  • Self-motivated individuals with a customer mindset and desire to help people
  • Enthusiasm for technical problem solving, with attention to detail and strong communication skills
  • Ability to learn and research in a dynamic and engaging environment
  • Availability to work 20 to 40 hours per week throughout the internship

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.
