Operations Program Manager

Advantest Test Solutions, Inc. (ATS) is looking for an Operations Program Manager to join our team in Lake Forest, CA.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Define program requirements in terms of product design, systems and process management, project budgets, cost management, supply chain, resource deployment, technical support, program/project phases, master schedules/project milestones and all other planning activities for program implementation.
- Provide leadership, technical oversight and direction to cross-functional teams supporting program requirements.
- Communicate program parameters, team accountabilities, reporting relationships, master schedules and critical paths for program execution.
- Conduct and facilitate program reviews to assess cost and schedule performance and ensure the achievement of technical objectives,contract commitments, and project goals.
- Present status reports to senior management, including any action recommendations requiring further approvals.
- Collaborate with operations/procurement, engineering, and quality assurance in overseeing the selection and contract performance of subcontractors providing technology, key product components and engineering services for assigned programs.
- Support customer personnel by providing on-going assistance and instructions in the operation of semiconductor test equipment/tools/systems and product applications.
- Serve as key customer contact on contract performance and customer support for programs under the Program Manager’s direction.
- Some travel may be required.
- All other duties as required and assigned.
Requirements, Education & Skills:
- BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent Technical Degree and/or proven work experience as a Project Manager in a similar role.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) Preferred.
- Extensive experience in the management of technical programs, preferably in the semiconductor/semiconductor test industry plus the subcontract management of major suppliers.
- Excellent communication, presentation and documentation skills.
- Should have competencies in risk management measurement and integrated master planning/scheduling.
- Should have a good understanding of PCB design and fabrication, automation systems, mechanical design, AC/DC power controls and thermal control systems/chillers and refrigerants coupled with field engineering management experience for high technology employees.
- Must be able to function independently and possess high level problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work comfortably with all levels of the organization, develop plans, manage small projects with may require some hands-on labor. Hands on manufacturing/build experience is a plus.
- An ability to be productive and successful in an intense work environment with dynamic changing customer priorities.
- Microsoft Office 365 proficiency, especially PowerPoint, Excel.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- This is a daily, on-site role in our Lake Forest, CA office.
