Operations Manager
About the Role
The Operations Manager / Production Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the operation, including industrial maintenance, warehouse, and production control areas. This position is 100% onsite at our Health & Medical plant in Yumbo, Valle de Cauca, reporting directly to the Site Manager.What You Will Do
- Act as a role model for Safety and Essity values, behaviors, and beliefs.
- Drive strategic initiatives and implement management systems and operational standards.
- Lead the Autonomous Maintenance pillar, strengthening organizational capability.
- Own operational results (SQCDM) and ensure performance targets are met.
- Develop and coach teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Apply structured problem-solving tools to eliminate losses and optimize performance.
- Manage the annual operational budget and ensure cost control.
- Ensure strong communication routines through daily, weekly, and monthly performance meetings.
- Lead performance management processes and support growth of critical operational areas.

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in industrial operations or production leadership roles.
- Knowledge of TPM, maintenance systems, and industrial processes.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience managing budgets and driving cost efficiency.
- Advanced English proficiency (required)
