Trek is hiring a distribution Operations Manager in our parts and accessories (P&A) department. The operations manager is responsible for leading two departments within the DC.  They have responsibility overseeing daily operations that include picking and packing orders, shipping, receiving, restocking, stow, and quality control. The operations manager must be able to communicate, collaborate, and work well across teams in a multi-discipline organization. The ideal candidate must be developmentally focused, have high energy/drive, be a critical thinker, thrive in a fast-paced work environment, demonstrate strong communication and technical problem-solving skills, be able to work independently, and have fun while working for the greatest bike company on earth!

Operations Manager

Position responsibilities:

  • Ability to lead a team of 40+ employees and as many as 70+ employees during peak production
  • Hire and develop a world class team
  • Build leadership bench strength and meet site KPI’s through consistent coaching and development
  • Responsible for the overall safety, quality, and performance of all inbound and outbound accessories operations
  • Create and facilitate a positive experience for your direct reports
  • Model continuous improvement and lean methodologies
  • Accurately manage inventory; identify and resolve issues through root cause analysis

Position requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience leading a team
  • Continuous Improvement/Lean Six Sigma experience
  • Experience supervising and leading direct reports to achieve complex goals
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Suite experience
  •  Lift and move items of up to 50 lbs.
  • Standing/walking continually throughout shift (average of 5 miles per day)
