About the role
We are seeking an experienced head of operations manager with a proven leadership track record and a solid background in customer services and project delivery skills to join our dynamic team. He/ she would preferably have worked in the insurance industry and has exposure in the tech scene or start-up related environment. Reporting to the regional head of operations based in Singapore, this role will work with the team to strengthen operations activities with current clients/partners as well as build up new operational activities for upcoming projects of Igloo in Vietnam.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement KPIs and objectives to measure operational performance and identify improvement areas.
- Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with company objectives to drive business growth and efficiency.
- Demonstrate a hands-on, customer-centric attitude with a focus on problem-solving.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, product, legal, finance, technology) to develop and implement operational solutions.
- Establish and continuously review operating procedures for enhanced efficiency and productivity.
- Oversee claim management and customer service operations, ensuring excellent customer experience and compliance with regulations.
- Lead sales admin department, optimizing processes and resources.
- Foster a customer-centric culture and drive continuous process improvement.
- Manage operational budgets, ensuring cost-effective and efficient resource utilization.
Requirements
- 6 to 8 years of relevant experience, startup/ insurance experience is a plus.
- Strong problem solving and excellent communications skills to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and proactively handling tasks.
- Preferably have experience or exposure to project managing API integrations and understanding its limitations, very well versed with the local insurance market in terms of the right operational processes to enhance operational excellency.
- Fluency in English (both spoken and written), due to the work collaborations with the regional team.
