As the Operations Manager for RAC Parks & Resorts, you will play a vital role in driving RAC’s success by overseeing the end-to-end delivery of key operational and compliance initiatives along with operational projects. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders to understand business needs to deliver optimal outcomes and successfully achieve strategic goals line with strategy development.
What will you be doing?
- Capital Works Leadership – Spearhead refurbishment and development projects across the Parks & Resorts estate, collaborating with different tteams to deliver strategic growth.
- Lifecycle Asset & Maintenance Strategy – Embed a property‑level preventative‑maintenance regime and long‑term capital‑replacement plans to keep infrastructure future‑fit and guest ready.
- Project Governance & Process Excellence – Design robust frameworks that ensure every project is scoped, executed and reported with consistent, risk‑aware discipline.
- Compliance, Risk & H &S Assurance – Own contract and supplier management, risk registers and Health‑&‑Safety verifications, exceeding corporate and legislative standards.
- Portfolio Planning & Performance – Partner with the General Manager to prioritise, resource and track the full project portfolio, keeping initiatives on time, on budget and on brief.
- Operational Efficiency & Change Enablement – Drive programmes that standardise operations and manage change and communications across all sites for seamless adoption.
- Financials – Oversee budgeting, procurement and cost‑control processes while safeguarding revenue streams, including the day‑to‑day oversight of Shark Bay Airport operations.
- Leadership and Engagement - Forge strong internal and external relationships and coach the Parks & Resorts Operations Coordinator to deliver engaged teams and shared success.
- Operational Support - Aiding the General Manager with operational requirements of the, but not limited to the management of Shark Bay Airport operations.
What are we looking for in you?
- Extensive experience in the operations of hospitality venues or related industry.
- Extensive experience in managing medium- to long term projects or programs of work in a commercial or operational environment with project management qualifications highly regarded.
- Significant experience in successfully managing change and implementing continuous improvement activities.
- Significant experience in strategic business planning and budgeting processes.
- Financial management, including financial reporting.
- Significant experience in identifying and embedding process and system improvements.
- Ability to travel between RAC sites, specifically regional sites across WA.
