The Role

Summary:

Directs production, distribution, and marketing operations for branch plant, or assigned territory of industrial organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Coordinates production, distribution, warehousing, and sales in accordance with policies, principles, and procedures established by Industrial Organization Manager. • Develops plan for efficient use of materials, machines, and employees. • Reviews production costs and product quality, and modifies production.• Reviews operations of competing organizations and plans and directs sales program to develop new markets. • Recommends budgets to management. • Takes a hands on approach with the ability to recognize potential production/quality problems on the plant floor before they occur

? Develop capacity strategies and implementation plans and programs to support sales plan

? Continually develop and improve metrics that support our company objectives and requirements without adding bureaucracy

? Support and assist in the development of the job planning process

? Purchasing

? Support and assist strategies and plans for facility capacity to meet growth

? Support and assist facility and equipment maintenance programs

? Other Duties

? Support contract review requirements

? Participate in annual planning and budget development process

? Monitor all safety issues with the goal of identifying root cause and elimination of the risk

? Ensure all training is completed for all responsible employees and develop new training processes as needed

? Participate in the development of the company's strategic planning, vision, mission and values and desired culture

? Provide good feedback and promote good communication

? Abide by and support all safety and quality system requirements

Education and Experience:

? Bachelor degree or equivalent

? Previous leadership experience required

Mathematical Skills: • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Computer Skills: • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have an understanding of Microsoft Suite and Excel package knowledge and abilities
