Job Description

Role Responsibilities:-

  • Lead daily operations of the Post Close Review and Exception Resolution team to ensure timely and accurate processing of commercial loan and collateral document review, including identification and clearing of exceptions.

  • Maintain operational procedures, service standards, and quality controls for Post Close Review and Exception Resolution processing activities.

  • Support management reporting, control testing, and audits by ensuring adherence to established procedures.

  • Review reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Contribute to workflow improvements and automation opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce operational risk.

  • Lead, coach, and develop team members; set goals, monitor productivity, and support performance management.

  • Contribute to strategic planning, budgeting, staffing, and capacity planning.

Job Description:-

  • This position leads and manages the Post Close Review and Exception Resolution team, providing clear direction, oversight, and accountability for daily operations.

  • This team is responsible for reviewing loan and collateral document packages for accuracy and completeness, placing exceptions for missing or incorrect documentation, reviewing documents submitted by the business line to clear exceptions, and updating multiple systems of record for tracking and reporting purposes.

  • The Post Close Review and Exception Resolution Manager is responsible for building and sustaining a high-performing team through the establishment of expectations, goal setting, and talent development supported by regular coaching, feedback, and recognition.

  • This role oversees multiple processes supporting the commercial loan portfolio and ensuring adherence to established procedures and controls.

  • The Post Close Review and Exception Resolution Manager drives workflow optimization, monitors performance, and resolves escalated issues.

  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong operational leadership, loan and collateral documentation expertise, and process improvement capabilities to drive efficiency and consistency.

  • Directly and through staff, manages and coordinates the operational activities for assigned functional areas/regions.

  • Ensures quality service and effective operations support for all assigned internal and external customers. 

  • Leads high performance teams of both entry level and skilled professionals by setting goals, providing ongoing feedback, measuring progress while recognizing success and building accountability with employees.

  • Oversees adherence to corporate policies and procedures and ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations within area of responsibility. 

  • Participates in the review and improvement of operational systems and procedures relevant to assigned units.

Basic Qualifications:-

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 3+yrs of leadership experience, 8yrs of Overall Experience

Shift Timings:-

11:00 AM - 8:00 PM IST

Work Mode:-

5 days from office
