Operations Manager - Pharmacy

Job Description:
Responsible for operational services in the acute care hospital and if applicable, hospital owned outpatient departments (HOPDs) and/or infusion centers. Responsible for developing policies and procedures to ensure that medications are stored, prepared, and dispensed in a safe and effective manner. Ensures that distribution services are provided to meet the needs of the medical staff, patients, nurses, and associates. The Pharmacy Operations Manager facilitates the development, implementation, and maintenance of systems that promote desirable patient outcomes through safe, appropriate, cost-effective medication therapies.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy required.
Kentucky Board of Pharmacy License in good standing required.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a licensed pharmacist required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of five (5) years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
PGY-1/PGY-2 ASHP residency preferred.
Management experience preferred.
Master's degree preferred.
Board certification or other advanced certification preferred.
