Job Description

  • Maintain overall safety, quality, performance, and customer experience standards across Inbound or Outbound operations;
  • Direct Area Managers with clearly defined expectations and performance benchmarks;
  • Establish performance metrics, deliver constructive feedback, and enforce accountability measures;
  • Spearhead quality initiatives, process improvements, and Lean projects to ensure the functional area and distribution center achieve or exceed established business objectives;
  • Identify and evaluate improvement opportunities from management personnel and integrate validated recommendations into strategic improvement plans;
  • Disseminate best practices across departments, shifts, and the broader network to drive operational excellence;
  • Coordinate with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT, and Senior Operations Managers to secure necessary resources and support for strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects;
  • Direct end-to-end logistics operations, including budgeting, forecasting, recruitment, workforce planning, and comprehensive financial analysis;
  • Optimize operational costs and performance through rigorous supply chain integration and strategic management;

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant operations experience;
  • 7+ years of operations experience in supply chain, logistics, transportation, manufacturing, retail, or related fields;
  • Proven experience leading and managing a team of 10 or more people with demonstrated ability to develop team members;
  • Business-level English proficiency.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Direct experience in a similar logistical or distribution center working environment;

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of operations experience in supply chain, logistics, transportation, manufacturing, retail, or related fields;
  • Strong operations experience in a fast-growing company or industry;
  • Proven track record leading rapid expansion initiatives or scaling operations;
  • Demonstrated success delivering multiple programs and projects on time and within budget;
  • Expertise with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies and continuous improvement techniques;
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment;
  • Experience managing operational budgets, financial forecasting, and cost optimization strategies;
  • Background in workplace safety management and safety compliance programs;
  • Experience developing and implementing performance metrics, KPIs, and accountability frameworks;

Skills Required
